If you are looking for an Apprenticeship, you need to know how far it can take you in your career. So, what are the steps to success you can take with the Apprenticeship, as you progress?
There are four types of Apprenticeship:
• Intermediate Apprenticeships (level 2) are the same level as five GCSE passes and are a great way to kickstart your career in many different areas.
• Advanced Apprenticeships (level 3) are regarded by employers to be the same level as two or three A level passes. They provide an ideal opportunity for an apprentice to progress from their level two apprenticeship and assume more responsibilities within their job role.
• Higher Apprenticeships (levels 4 and above) will help you to move into a supervisory or management role whilst continuing to improve your qualifications. At this level you will gain more responsibility and may be asked to run a small team or manage a project.
• Degree Apprenticeships (levels 6 – 7) are offered by universities and other higher education providers. They contain either a full degree or degree-level qualification and go up to master’s level (which is postgraduate).
