Accounts Tutor
McArthur Dean Training, one of the leading training providers in the Humber region, has a vacancy for an Accountancy Tutor/Assessor to undertake a wide range of duties within the Training Team.
Reporting to the General Manager, your role will be to work as part of a highly successful team and to build on the success the company has enjoyed over the last thirty years delivering the Apprenticeship and Study Programme contracts in Hull, Scunthorpe and Grimsby.
Your role will be to deliver training in Accountancy at levels 2, 3 and 4, to learners drawn from all age groups. Applicants must have a full driving licence. A teaching and/or assessing qualification and previous experience is desirable although training will be given.
Responsibilities and Duties
You will be required to teach groups of learners in our Hull and Scunthorpe training centres and assess them on an individual basis in the workplace in order for them to achieve their Apprenticeship standard and/or AAT qualification. You will undertake progress reviews with the employer and the learners and act as a mentor. The applicant must be able to follow all quality procedures.
Qualifications and Skills
Applicants must have a good standard of education, including qualifications and/or experience in the accountancy field. A teaching qualification, assessors award and experience is desirable, although training will be given.
Hours of work
Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (35 hours per week)
