Parents Guide

The Apprenticeship has proved to be one of the most popular routes for young people, as they look to make the first steps in their careers. The programme offers lots of opportunities ranging from business administration and accountancy, to plumbing and construction.

Here at McArthur Dean Training, we provide training and career opportunities in business related areas including, business administration, accountancy, customer service, management and team leading.

We have been providing this service to young people since 1995, so we would like to think that we have a good understanding of what young people and their parents are looking for. A key part of our service is to ensure that each young person is given good advice and support, which will help them make the right decisions at an important time of their lives.

In order to help you understand how the programme works, we have pulled together some important information about the Apprenticeship and Traineeship, which will hopefully answer many of the questions you have. Of course, there may be some areas in which you will need to ask further questions. If this is the case, we will be only too happy to assist and help you to help your son or daughter to make the right choices.
