McArthur Dean in partnership with Airco

We are delighted to announce a new partnership between McArthur Dean Training and Airco Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Ltd. Having come to prominence as one of the UK’s leading refrigeration contractors, Airco has since expanded its offering to include a full cold room design and build facility, together with detailed expertise on specialist refrigeration equipment.

Airco has recently opened 2 new departments – the Renewables Department and the Commercial Heating Division and has over 10 commercial gas engineers who undertake reactive maintenance and installations. The company also acquired a prestigious contract to service and maintain the whole of the ERYC estate.

With over 200 staff, Airco has been looking to upskill their workforce and, as a result, has formed this new partnership with McArthur Dean. Training will be delivered to staff through the Apprenticeship programme ranging from level 3 through to level 5 in a number of key areas including Team Leading, Management, Customer Service and HR.

McArthur Dean General Manager Sandie Gifford is delighted with the new initiative commenting ‘We are so pleased and proud to have formed this new partnership with such a high profile and reputable company as Airco. This new arrangement marks a further development of other partnerships we currently enjoy with organisations based in our region’.

Managing Director of Airco, Nick Oxtoby, is looking forward to the new partnership stating ‘We have made a large investment in training and McArthur Dean Training continue to be there as support and guidance on this. We feel it’s vital to upskill our workforce to continue the growth and development of our business’.
