We have all been facing challenges due to the pandemic in recent months, and Madison Tate has been no different. Madison began her Pre-Apprenticeship programme with Westgates Restructuring in Hull before lockdown, and then had to adapt to continuing her training whilst working from home. Not only has Madison coped with the changes she had to face but she has now been offered a new job with Westgates and a place on the Business Administration Apprenticeship!
We asked her about how she has found training with us during this difficult time:
“My experience on the Pre-Apprenticeship programme has definitely had its challenges, although I have learnt a lot and become more confident in my capabilities. I have attended all my sessions on the programme and completed all the work, whilst working at Westgates Restructuring.
When we suddenly went into lockdown, I was initially nervous about making the big adjustment to working from home every day as this was not something I had experience in. That being said, the staff at McArthur Dean were so supportive and helped relieve any concerns I had. I was also able to utilise the extra time in my day to meet my deadlines”.
Congratulations Madison from everyone at McArthur Dean and good luck with the Apprenticeship and your new job at Westgates Restructuring.
