Audrey Dawson (Director)
As a director of McArthur Dean Training, Audrey has enjoyed many years experience in both further education and the training sector. Audrey has extensive knowledge and experience of government supported training, having managed work-based learning programmes on behalf of numerous agencies including the Learning and Skills Council and Jobcentre Plus. In addition to her role with McArthur Dean Training, Audrey is also a director of the Consortium for Learning.

Martyn
Dean (Director)
A fellow director of McArthur Dean Training, Martyn is a qualified
lecturer who has spent many years in further education and more
recently within training. With a background in sales and marketing,
Martyn has been responsible for the development and implementation
of marketing plans on behalf of numerous organisations drawn from
both the private and public sectors operating throughout the UK.

Pete
Walters (Business Development Manager)
Pete has enjoyed many years within the private sector which has
included seven years in Personnel and some twenty five years in
the media in both a Sales and Management capacity. In addition to
the press, Pete has worked for Viking FM and more recently, Yorkshire
Coast Radio, before moving to his current post. In his current role,
Pete has developed extensive links with employers in both the public
and private sectors.

Sandie Gifford (Office Manager)
Sandie is responsible for the administration of McArthur Dean Training and is regularly in touch with both learners and employers. Sandie has worked in the legal profession and has several years experience gained within the work-based learning sector.

David
Langley (Accounts Tutor)
David has spent twenty three years in industry, commerce and the
public sector; gaining a wide range of experience in financial and
management accounting. His time within the public sector has included
eighteen years as a full-time lecturer within further education
teaching accounts and finance. David teaches on our AAT Level 2
and 3 programmes.

Jim Mooney
(Accounts Tutor)
Jim has thirteen years experience of working as a curriculum leader and lecturer in Business and Management within the Further Education Sector. In addition, Jim has spent several years at McArthur Dean Training as the AAT Accountancy co-ordinator and tutor.

Kerry
Ellis (Centre Manager)
Kerry has worked for a number of national training organisations
which has included, for example, The Touchstone Group, Lloyds Training
Ltd and The Travel Training Company. Past experience has included
retail management, however in recent years Kerry has focused on
training and in particular the delivery of Apprenticeship qualifications in
Administration, Customer Service, Retail and Warehousing.

James
Kirkman (Technical Certificate/Law Tutor)
James has considerable experience within the legal profession, which has included work within higher education, solicitors and more recently training. Having completed his Masters degree at the University of Hull , James worked for several local practices including Gosschalks and Graham & Rosen, before moving in to the work-based learning sector with McArthur Dean Training. James is now responsible for the delivery of the ILEX Paralegal qualification and Technical Certificate.

Helen Walker (Administration/ICT Tutor)
Helen has ten years experience working within administration and a further two years providing IT/online technical support. Helen has spent several years with McArthur Dean Training, delivering the Apprenticeship programme in areas which have included administration, IT, customer service, key skills and the technical certificate.

Karen Wright (Administration/Customer Service Tutor)
Karen has eleven years experience, working within the retail sector in both a customer service and management capacity. In addition, Karen has spent the last nine years in work-based learning as a tutor/assessor, delivering various programmes, which have included, for example, retail, customer service, administration and key skills.

Kim Smith (Learner Liaison Tutor)
Kim has eighteen years experience working within the learning sector. She has been involved in various roles delivering work-based learning programmes, which have included, tutor, administrator, adviser and manager. Kim is currently responsible for offering both support and guidance to all learners, as the Learner Liaison Tutor.
