“Molly’s Big Chop” raises over £1000 for charity!

Molly after her “Big Chop”… take a look below for the before/after shot!

On the 27th August, Advanced Business Administration Apprentice Molly Cornforth bravely undertook a “big chop”, by shaving her hair for the Little Princess Trust, a charity who creates real hair wigs for children who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment.

This week we caught up with Molly to see how she got on…

I was really nervous at first, but I’m so glad that I did it” says Molly, now without her auburn locks. “I know that my hair will grow back, but for a lot of people it won’t, so I’m really pleased to be able to do something to help them”.

I just need to get used to everybody calling me Sinead O’Connor now!

Molly set herself a target of £1000 and we’re very happy to report that she achieved this (and a bit more!) on the day.

We’d like to take this opportunity to again wish Molly a huge well done from everybody at McArthur Dean – we’re all extremely proud!
