McArthur Dean - Funding

The Apprenticeship programme is available to learners of all ages.  The programme provides business related training in administration, accounts, customer service, management and team-leading and is offered free of charge, or subsidised, to those respective employers and employees (subject to certain criteria), who choose to take advantage of this training programme.

Funding

McArthur Dean Training understands the need to deliver flexible, cost effective training programmes, which cater for both the employer and trainee.  With this in mind, many of the services offered are available free of charge, as they attract government funding.
Those programmes, which attract funding, include the following:

Train to Gain
This is a new service designed to help businesses get the right training needed to succeed.  Free training (subject to eligibility) can be accessed in order to develop the individual needs of the learner.  To be eligible, the learner must not hold the equivalent of a Level 2 qualification, be over 19 years of age (there is no upper age limit) and currently in paid employment

Skills for Life
This is a programme designed to address the literacy, numeracy and language skills of people living in England and Wales.  Possessing such skills is essential to all aspects of life, especially in the workplace, from writing letters and using email, to checking stock and raising invoices.  To be eligible, the learner must not hold the equivalent of a Level 2 qualification in literacy or numeracy.
