At what level?….
Apprenticeships have been introduced to enable young people to achieve a level 2 qualification within a framework, which includes an NVQ and Technical Certificate.  They are designed to get young people off to a good start in their chosen career.

Can I progress with my training?…
An Apprenticeship can open up a range of further opportunities and can lead to an Advanced Apprenticeship.

How long will it take?…
An Apprenticeship usually takes around twelve months to complete.

Will I get a ‘real’ job?….
Yes, with a minimum wage of £80.00 per week.

What is an Advanced Apprenticeship?Advanced Apprenticeships build on the tradition of the Apprenticeship.  Young people undertaking Advanced Apprenticeships train to a level 3 framework of qualifications, which includes an NVQ and Technical Certificate, whilst in a regular full-time job.

Will the Advanced Apprenticeship help me to progress my career?
By combining training with a job, Advanced Apprenticeships give young people a sound progression in the workplace, as well as a qualification which can help them progress to jobs such as technicians and managers.

Can I progress with my training?…
An Advanced Apprenticeship can lead to an NVQ level 4, an HND/C, or even a degree.

How long will it take?…
An Advanced Apprenticeship normally takes around two years to complete.

A good job with the right pay…
All Advanced Apprenticeships are employed and receive the appropriate wage for the job.
